Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full Time (30 hours/week)

About the Position:
Franklin Elementary School is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This full-time position involves approximately 30 hours per week supporting speech-language services for a caseload of about 28 students. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language therapy services to students

Implement treatment plans under the supervision of the licensed SLP
-
Monitor and document student progress and communicate updates to the SLP
-
Support individual and small group therapy sessions
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to reinforce therapy goals in the classroom
-
Maintain accurate records and adhere to school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
-
Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility to obtain one

Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $40 per hour. We pay for direct and indirect services. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
