Overview:
Cascade School District in Leavenworth, Washington is seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join the district’s special education team. This full-time, in-person role will support students from Preschool through 12th grade in collaboration with the district’s supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Position Details:

Daily Schedule: 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday

Caseload Age Range: Preschool – 12th Grade

Caseload Size: To be determined based on student need and district assignments

Setting: Onsite only

Supervision: You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP employed by the district
Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP

Implement IEP-based therapy goals and intervention plans

Collect and record data on student progress

Support generalization of communication skills in classroom settings

Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ communication development

Maintain documentation and assist in preparing materials for therapy sessions
Qualifications:

Active Washington State SLPA License (required)

Must be fingerprinted through OSPI or willing to complete this requirement prior to start

Experience working in a school setting preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
