Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and positively impact the lives of students.
About the Position:
As an SLPA with our district, you will play a crucial role in providing essential speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You will implement therapy plans, conduct screenings, and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) as designed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct speech and language screenings.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collect data and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- Current Indiana SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
