An opportunity is available for an experienced, Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based speech services at an elementary school located in Southwest Houston, TX. This full-time, onsite contract role supports speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and will cover the remainder of the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLP
- Collaborate with school staff to support individualized student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress data in compliance with school policies
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members
- Adhere to all school health and safety protocols during onsite work
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure (fully licensed; no supervision hours required)
- Proven experience in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Reliable transportation for commute within Southwest Houston area
- Ability to pass a drug screen and complete fingerprint/background check promptly after contract acceptance
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, and professionalism are essential
Additional Details:

- Full-time, onsite role (no virtual or remote options)
