Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time, In-Person – Irving, TX
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person position in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication development and help them make meaningful progress throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will bring school-based or pediatric experience and a strong commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services following direction from the supervising SLP

Support IEP goals through targeted, evidence-based activities
-
Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure continuity of communication support

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Prepare materials and assist with administrative tasks related to therapy

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development as required
Qualifications:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Texas SLPA license
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
