Provide school-based speech-language pathology assistance to support students under the supervision of a licensed SLP in a Southwest Houston elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite role requires a Texas Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with no need for additional clinical hours or internship completion. The position is available for immediate start and will continue through June 4, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals.
- Adhere to school policies and maintain professional conduct throughout the assignment.
- Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license (fully licensed, no internship or clinical hours required).
- Experience providing speech-language support within a school setting.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to commute to Southwest Houston.
- Ability to pass drug screening and complete fingerprint/background check promptly upon contract signing.
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive communicator.
