Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Upcoming School Year
A great school in the Houston area is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to support students in a school-based setting while working alongside experienced professionals. Previous experience working with children is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
-Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist with implementing therapy plans
-Provide direct support to students with speech and language needs
-Document student progress and maintain accurate records
-Prepare therapy materials and activities
-Collaborate with school staff to support student success
Experience:
-Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
Education / Licensure:
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
-Active or eligible Texas SLPA license
-Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Compensation and Details:
Pay range: $38–$42 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time
Contract dates: 8/3/2026 – 5/27/2027
