A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available onsite at an elementary school in Southwest Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborate with supervising SLP to implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Communicate proactively with the supervising SLP and school staff
- Adhere to all district and state policies and guidelines for school-based therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license (fully licensed; no supervision hours required)
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Reliable transportation with ability to commute to Southwest Houston
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive communicator
- Ability to pass a drug screening and complete fingerprint/background check within the first three days of contract
- Laptop available for documentation and communication needs
