A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support students in grades 7 through 12 across two campuses in the Houston area. This contract role runs through May 21, 2026, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of approximately 80 to 90 students within a dynamic K-12 educational setting.
Location: Richmond, TX (George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to support students with speech and language needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Participate in relevant meetings and assist in compiling data for IEPs and assessments.
Qualifications:
- Professional license as an SLPA is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably grades 7-12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 80-90 students across multiple campuses.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time (35 hours per week).
