Support Student Communication with ProCare Therapy

ProCare Therapy is collaborating with school districts across Texas to hire qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for the upcoming academic year. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives while growing your skills under the guidance of licensed SLPs in supportive school environments.


Position Overview

SLPAs help deliver therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders that impact learning, communication, and social engagement. You’ll work closely with supervising SLPs and educational staff to support IEP goals and communication outcomes for students across a variety of settings.

Current openings are available in districts around Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, and more.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision

  • Follow documented treatment plans and IEP goals

  • Collect and record student performance data

  • Prepare therapy materials and support classroom communication needs

  • Participate in team meetings as needed

  • Maintain compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) and district guidelines


Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance


Job Details

  • Both full-time and part-time positions available

  • 2025–2026 school year contract

  • W-2 employment through ProCare Therapy

  • On-site positions with support from district SLPs and school staff

  • Recruiter assistance throughout your assignment
