Position Overview
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Houston, Texas, for the 2025–2026 academic year. Key Responsibilities

Direct Therapy Services: Implement speech and language therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist in preparing reports for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' communication goals.

Support: Assist in speech and language screenings and assessments as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.

Licensure: Valid Texas SLPA license.

Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
