ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school district in Hanford, California, for the full 2025–2026 academic year. This position is open to out-of-state candidates who meet licensing requirements and are open to relocation, temporary housing, or extended commuting.

To be eligible for serious consideration, applicants must hold an active SLPA license in California and in the state where they currently reside.

About the Position:

This is a full-time, onsite role within a public school district serving students ranging in age from birth to 22 years old. The hired SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement therapy plans, provide support services, and track progress on communication-related IEP goals.

The district offers a welcoming, team-based environment that supports contracted professionals with training, collaboration, and structured supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services as directed by a supervising SLP

• Work with a diverse caseload across different developmental levels

• Maintain accurate service logs, session notes, and progress updates

• Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to support student outcomes

• Follow all applicable state, district, and licensure guidelines

• Assist in preparing materials and supports for individual and group therapy

Qualifications Required:

• Active SLPA license in the state of California

• Active SLPA license in your state of residence

• Must be available to work onsite in Hanford, CA, full-time for the full school year

• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
