A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) role is available to support students across grades K-12 in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time (40 hours per week) with a caseload of 60-70 students, providing vital therapeutic support to help enhance communication skills and educational outcomes.
Location: Hermiston, OR
Duration: Contract through 6/5/2026, starting as soon as possible
Population Served: K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language intervention to students under supervision
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure appropriate for school settings
