A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensed in California is sought to support elementary and middle school students within a K-12 public school setting located in Hayward, CA. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year. Candidates will provide crucial support to a caseload of approximately 40 students ranging in age from elementary through middle school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Prior experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
Work Schedule and Details:
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM
- Contract position with the current school year duration
- Located in Hayward, CA
