Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Part Time
Location: Harvey, IL
Setting: Elementary School (Grades PreK–4th)
Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:25 PM (Part Time)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join an elementary school team in Harvey, IL. The SLPA will support students in grades PreK–4th, providing services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs designed by the supervising SLP

Provide direct services to students in individual and group settings

Support communication skill development within the classroom environment

Collect data and maintain documentation of student progress

Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote communication success in academic settings
Qualifications:

Current Illinois SLPA License required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills
