A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students in an elementary school setting in Hartford, CT. This is a contract leave position running from February 9th through March 23rd, working five days per week. The ideal candidate will be licensed and ready to provide skilled speech-language intervention to students across the elementary age group.
Qualifications and Required Credentials:
- SLPA or SLP licensure in good standing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language and Communication Disorders
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to serve diverse student needs from kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and related professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and parent consultations as needed
