Speech Pathologist Assistant in Gridley, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Gridley, CA, providing support across multiple K-12 school locations. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending on May 28, 2026. The role involves working onsite and delivering itinerant services to students at several schools in the area.
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Gridley, CA with travel required to Spring Valley School, Bangor Elementary School, and Berry Creek Elementary School
- Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week
- Onsite presence is mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy plans across multiple school sites, adapting to individual student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Manage travel between assigned schools efficiently
Qualifications:
- Current California SLPA license is required
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload involving multiple locations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently between schools
