This contract position, located in the Baltimore area of Maryland, involves working with two schools: Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week). The assignment runs from February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a possibility of extension into the Extended School Year program for four weeks in July 2026. The role requires consistent on-site presence Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting Speech Language Pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Implementing treatment plans and conducting therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists.
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working with PreK through 5th-grade populations is preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and school staff.
Location:
- Magnolia Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary Schools, Baltimore area, MD.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week, five days a week with specific days assigned per school.
