Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is currently interviewing Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for an exciting full-time school-based position near Gig Harbor, WA for the upcoming school year. As part of the speech team, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging speech and language services under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving student outcomes through communication support.
Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and small-group speech therapy sessions

Implement IEP-driven treatment plans and document progress accurately

Assist the supervising SLP with data collection, materials prep, and therapy scheduling

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators

Participate in professional development and team meetings

Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for all students
Qualifications:

Active Washington SLPA license (or pending state approval)

School-based experience preferred but open to strong new graduates

Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across disciplines
