Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time, In-Person – Garland, TX
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, in-person role in Garland, Texas. In this position, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication development and help ensure they receive high-quality services throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will have school-based or pediatric experience and a strong commitment to supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of speech and language therapy services under the direction of the supervising SLP

Assist in delivering targeted, evidence-based activities that align with students’ IEP goals

Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote consistent communication support across settings

Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Prepare materials and handle administrative tasks related to therapy

Participate in meetings, supervision, and training as required
Qualifications:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Texas SLPA license
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
