Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in San Luis, AZ
Located in San Luis, AZ, this full-time contract opportunity supports elementary students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the identification of students with communication disabilities within the K-8 student population.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the Speech Language Pathologist to support students' communication development.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and administrative requirements related to speech and language services.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 52 students, maintaining detailed documentation and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with instructional staff to integrate communication goals within the educational setting.
Qualifications:
- Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License is required.
- Possession of an IVP Fingerprint Card in compliance with state regulations.
- Experience working in a K-8 educational environment is preferred.
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and provide consistent, compassionate support.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate with educators.
