Full Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in School Setting
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to serve a K–12 caseload within a school district in Fredericksburg, VA.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Work directly with students in individual and group settings to support IEP goals.

Assist with speech, language, and communication assessments and documentation.
-
Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate session records.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success.
Qualifications & Requirements (Virginia):

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Assisting or a related field from an accredited program.

Current Speech Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
-
Compliance with Virginia Department of Education and state special education guidelines.

Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
