Hiring Full-Time School-Based SLPs or SLPAs | Nearby Franklin Park, IL
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time services at a school system that is nearby the local area of Franklin Park, IL for the 2025–2026 school year. The district will also consider experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, providing services to students in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with IEP goals.

Conduct evaluations and assessments (SLP only).

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student communication needs.

Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with state and district policies.
Requirements for SLP (per Illinois guidelines):

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Current Illinois license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or even CFY candidates will be considered with appropriate supervision.

Active PEL Licensure is required for SLPs
Requirements for SLPA (per Illinois guidelines):

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting, Communication Disorders, or a related field.

Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued
-
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Must be comfortable working under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC.
Pay Scales:
- Soliant pays on a weekly basis -
- SLP-CCC - $55-$60 /hour
- SLP-CFY - $45-$50 /hour
- SLPA - $33-$42 /hour
