Role Summary
As an SLPA in Fort Myers, FL, you will support licensed Speech Language Pathologists in providing therapy services, implementing treatment plans, and assisting students in developing communication skills essential for academic and social success.
Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities.
• Collect and document student progress data.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
Requirements (Florida)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Florida SLPA licensure or eligibility.
• School-based experience preferred.
Employment Options
Full-Time Local Contract
• On-site in Fort Myers, FL.
• Pay range dependent on experience and licensure.
Travel Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Fort Myers, FL.
