Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position located in Columbus, GA. This role offers an opportunity to support a high behavioral class within a school setting, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 21st, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering speech therapy services to students within a high behavioral classroom.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions and carry out daily responsibilities in collaboration with the supervising SLP.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to support students with behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student progress and caseload needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license is required.
  • Experience working in behavioral settings is highly preferred.
  • Comfort and confidence in managing and supporting students with behavioral difficulties.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively support the SLP and educational team.

Location & Hours:

  • Position based in Columbus, GA.
  • Full-time schedule consisting of 27.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
