Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in San Bernardino, CA

A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in San Bernardino, CA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to support students' communication development within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments and evaluations under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and revision of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports and required records.
- Collaborate with school staff and clinicians to optimize therapy outcomes and support student progress.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 students.
- Knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in children.
- Ability to assist in a variety of assessment procedures and therapy techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and reporting requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with educators and clinicians.
