Beginning August 24th, 2026, and extending through June 12th, 2027, you’ll work 35 hours each week, helping students communicate with confidence and thrive in their educational environment.
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Speech Language
- Background in speech or communication disorders (required)
- Experience within school-based settings is a strong advantage
- Comfort supporting diverse learning populations in K-12 schools
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language intervention services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support the assessment process through data collection and observation
- Assist with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech/language strategies in the classroom
- Maintain detailed records of interventions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
