This full-time opportunity offers a rewarding contract position supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a school setting. You will work with a diverse caseload during the second semester, assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering vital communication services to children across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Assisting with speech and language assessments and documentation
- Delivering direct therapy services under supervision for a K-12 caseload
- Collaborating with educators and families to promote student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to confidentiality requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience as an SLPA in schools, preferably working with K-12 students
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly desirable to support diverse learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting students’ speech and language development in an educational environment
