Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Chicago, IL
Are you passionate about supporting students’ communication development? A dynamic and supportive school district in Chicago, Illinois is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for the 2025–2026 school year. This on-site position serves a K–12 caseload, and bilingual English-Spanish candidates are strongly preferred to support the district’s diverse student population.

Position Summary
In this role, you’ll provide direct support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP, help implement therapy plans, and assist with data collection and progress monitoring. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to ensure that students receive consistent and effective speech and language support.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or some college coursework in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Bilingual English-Spanish strongly preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Ability to follow therapy plans and document student progress accurately
