This position offers an opportunity to provide essential support services within a K-12 educational setting located in Edmond, OK. The role focuses on assisting students with speech and language development, serving three days per week from ASAP through mid-February on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering supportive speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Implement therapy plans under SLP supervision to improve students’ communication skills
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into the classroom environment
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Location: Edmond, Oklahoma (K-12 School Environment)
Schedule and Duration:
- Contract position from ASAP through mid-February
- Three days per week commitment
