Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time position with school districts in the Doyline, LA area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in achieving their communication goals through school-based therapeutic services.
Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Louisiana state and local requirements, including:

Active Louisiana SLPA license issued by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA)
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an approved SLPA program
-
Supervision by a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
-
Authorization to work in the U.S.
-
Background check and fingerprint clearance
-
School-based experience preferred but not required
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Assist with implementing IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
-
Provide one-on-one or small group therapy in classroom settings
-
Document student progress and maintain therapy logs
-
Support the SLP with screenings, data collection, and parent/staff collaboration
-
Participate in school-based team meetings as appropriate
