School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Richmond, Texas

Location:
Richmond, TX – George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule (35 hours per week)
- Contract duration: ASAP through 5/21/2026
- Caseload includes middle and high school students (grades 7-12)
- Supporting approximately 80-90 students across two campuses
Qualifications:
- Professional license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and provide targeted speech-language services at the secondary education level
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language intervention and support to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Contribute to a positive learning environment that encourages student development and success
