As a full-time SLPA, you’ll provide direct support across one or more campuses within the district. While specific caseload details are forthcoming, expect to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, serving various age groups throughout the school community. This assignment begins August 10, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude September 25, 2026—with potential for extension based on district needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure
- Previous schools-based SLPA experience preferred
- Ability to complete required fingerprints and background checks promptly
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings
- Commitment to positively impacting student communication skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and classroom teachers

- Communicate regularly with supervising SLPs and school staff
