Speech Pathologist Assistant in Houston, TX
Providing therapy services within K-12 educational settings, this contract role involves delivering Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support to students at multiple elementary schools in Houston, TX. Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Current School Year (Contract through 5/29/2026)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Setting: Elementary schools (Garcia-Leza Primary, Caraway Elementary, and Stehlik Elementary)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services directly to students under the supervision of onsite SLPs.
- Support the implementation of individualized therapy plans to improve student communication skills.
- Collaborate with the SLP team and educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Experience or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within school settings.
