Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Columbus, NE
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time opportunity within school districts in the Columbus, Nebraska area. We are seeking professionals passionate about supporting students’ speech and communication development under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists.
Minimum Requirements:
All applicants must meet local and state certification standards to be considered:

Hold an Associate’s degree or higher in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution
-
Possess a current and active Nebraska SLPA license issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
-
Must have documented experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, preferably in an educational setting
-
Must complete and pass a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and fingerprint clearance in accordance with Nebraska Department of Education and district policies
-
Must comply with any district-specific onboarding and professional development requirements
Applicants who do not meet all of the above requirements will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Assist in conducting speech and language screenings
-
Prepare materials and schedule activities
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
-
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student development
-
Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines in all service delivery
