SLP/SLPA Position in Colonial Heights, VA
Job Type: Part-Time, School-Based (Flexible Hours)
Pay Range: $45 - $55 per hour (for SLP); $30 - $40 per hour (for SLPA)
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time position in Colonial Heights, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with elementary students in a supportive school environment, with the potential for the position to become full-time within 2-3 months.
Position Details:
- Start/End Dates: ASAP – End of the school year
- Schedule: 2.5-3 days per week (flexible on days)
- Caseload: Elementary students
- Potential for full-time: The role could progress to full-time in 2-3 months
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain progress records
Qualifications:
- For SLPs: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Virginia SLP license
- For SLPAs: Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Virginia SLPA license
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLP candidates
- School-based experience preferred but not required
