Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Northern California Schools
Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based assignment in Northern California. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPAs who enjoy variety, professional growth, and supporting students in multiple school environments. You’ll provide critical speech and language services under the supervision of licensed SLPs while experiencing new districts and communities across the region.
Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized speech and language therapy in accordance with IEP goals for students of all ages.

Assist supervising SLPs with treatment plans, session preparation, and therapy implementation.

Track and document student progress accurately and maintain compliance with district and state regulations.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure continuity and carryover of speech goals.
-
Adapt therapy materials for classroom and small-group use as needed.

Travel between multiple school sites in Northern California as assigned.
Qualifications:

Active California SLPA license (required).

Previous experience in school-based therapy strongly preferred.

Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to different school environments.

Positive, professional, and student-focused attitude.
