School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Chicago, Illinois
A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support speech and language therapy services across two elementary schools serving students from Pre-K through 4th grade. This contracted position is based in the Harvey, IL area and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate either part-time or full-time availability.

Location:
- Harvey, IL (serving two elementary schools)
- Work hours are typically 8:15 AM to 3:25 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students in individual or group therapy sessions tailored to their specific communication needs
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
