Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a certified Speech Language Pathologist.
- Support individualized education programs (IEPs) by assisting with therapy goals tailored to students’ needs.
- Participate in data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation related to student speech and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support effective communication strategies for students.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and school policies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as an SLPA in school environments, preferably with K-12 students.
- Familiarity with speech and language disorders commonly seen in pediatric populations.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of certified Speech Language Pathologists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
