An excellent opportunity is available for two full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to support elementary students at a Cape Coral school. These contracted positions are scheduled for the second semester, from January 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The roles focus on providing speech-language support to elementary-aged children, managing caseloads of approximately 50-55 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and therapeutic activities tailored to individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with district and state requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Participate in meetings and training as needed to maintain high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students efficiently.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality standards.
