Speech Pathology Assistant - Burnsville, MN
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Burnsville, MN. This onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule of 36.25 hours per week for the current school year (CSY), providing valuable assistance in delivering speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to support a caseload of 45-60 students
- Implement speech and language therapy plans as directed by the SLP
- Assist in delivering quality speech services across various grade levels
- Maintain communication with staff and students to enhance therapy outcomes
Qualifications:
- Experience as an SLPA in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in supporting speech and language development for K-12 students
- Ability to work onsite and manage a sizeable caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
