Speech Therapist Assistant in Brockton, MA
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 25/26 school year. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational setting, focusing on enhancing communication skills across a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to K-12 students under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Document and track student development and maintain clear communication with the therapy team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or relevant training as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and Portuguese are highly desirable and will be beneficial in serving a diverse student population.
