Pay: Starting at $34/Hour (based on experience)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Sarasota, FL metro area schools. This is a wonderful opportunity to support students’ communication development while working under the guidance of a licensed SLP-CCC in a collaborative school-based environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals.

Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities.
-
Collect and record data on student progress during therapy sessions.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to support speech and language strategies in the classroom.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.

Participate in team meetings and training as required.
Requirements
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Current Florida Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
-
Passion for working with children and supporting their academic and social success.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
