School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Flexible Start Time
ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school district team! This full-time, on-site position is available now or next school year. As an SLPA, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in their speech and language development. You’ll work under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students improve their communication skills, fostering academic success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Direct Therapy Support: Assist students with speech, language, and social communication skills, implementing therapy plans designed by the SLP.

Conducting Exercises: Lead activities that improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.

Assist with Assessments: Support the SLP in conducting screenings and assessments, gathering data, and administering tests.

Tracking Progress: Maintain accurate records of student performance and report observations to the supervising SLP.
Basic Qualifications:

Licensure: Active Washington SLPA license.

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience.
