Contract Type: School-year position with potential renewal based on performance
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Valid Nebraska SLPA license issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
-
Completion of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field from an accredited institution
-
Supervision agreement with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
-
Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
-
Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
-
Assist with implementing therapy plans and goals outlined in students’ IEPs
-
Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
-
Collect and document data on student performance and progress
-
Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records
-
Communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, educational staff, and families
