Pay Range: $35–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field (required)

Active Washington State SLPA license issued by the Washington State Department of Health (required)

Completion of an accredited SLPA program (required)

Experience working with school-aged children preferred
-
Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities for this role include:

Implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
-
Conducting therapy sessions with students individually or in small groups
-
Supporting students in developing speech, language, and communication skills
-
Preparing therapy materials and maintaining equipment
-
Collecting data on student progress and reporting findings to the supervising SLP
-
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student goals
