Location: North Mason Secondary Campus, Belfair, WA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Supervision: District-provided licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supervision
Position Overview:
North Mason School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at the Secondary Campus. In this full-time role, you will support speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a manageable caseload while making a meaningful difference in students' communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Assist with speech and language therapy services as outlined by the supervising SLP

Provide direct support and intervention to students with speech, language, and communication needs

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success

Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress

Follow district policies and procedures regarding student confidentiality and care
Qualifications:
-
Current SLPA certification/license as required by Washington State
-
Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Commitment to supporting diverse learners
Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $45 per hour. We pay for direct and indirect services. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
