State Requirements
Applicants must meet all Maryland state and district requirements. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
Typical requirements include:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA or related program
Active Maryland SLPA license or registration
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Ability to pass background and district screening requirements
Typical Job Duties
Implement speech and language therapy services
Assist with IEP goal support and data collection
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with school-based teams
Prepare therapy materials and activities
