A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide full-time, on-site support in elementary educational settings within the Baltimore area. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with young learners ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, supporting their speech and language development across two schools.
Location:
- Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week)
- Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week)
- Bel Air, MD area
Contract Duration:
- February 16, 2026, through May 29, 2026
- Potential extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services during July 2026 (4 weeks)
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of certified therapists, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
