A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support students in elementary schools serving PreK through 5th grade in the Baltimore, MD area. This role involves providing speech and language services across two schools during the current school year, with the possibility to extend into the summer (Extended School Year) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-5th grade.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning.
- Travel between two assigned elementary schools, Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days/week).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday through Friday.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in an educational environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Baltimore, MD (serving two elementary schools).
- Contract duration: February 16, 2026 – May 29, 2026, with potential extension into ESY (4 weeks in July 2026).
